Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

ChainWatch collects minimal data to provide its service:

  • Wallet addresses - You provide wallet addresses you want to track
  • Authentication - We verify wallet ownership through signed messages
  • Webhook URLs - Discord webhook URLs you provide for notifications
  • Usage data - Basic analytics on service usage

2. What We Don't Collect

We do NOT collect:

  • Private keys or seed phrases
  • Wallet balances
  • Personal information beyond wallet addresses
  • Payment information

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

  • Monitor the wallet addresses you add
  • Send webhook notifications when transactions occur
  • Maintain your user account and preferences

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a local database file on our servers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Public Blockchain Data

Blockchain transactions are public by design. When you add a wallet address to monitor, its transaction history becomes visible through our service. This is inherent to how blockchains work and is not considered personal data under our control.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by removing your wallets and deleting your account.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes through the service.
